DELTACAP 2.5 MC is a Microencapsulated formulation of Deltamethrin and provides extended residual and highly potent control against stored product pests in warehouses. The active ingredient, Deltamethrin, is also used worldwide in Public Health for the control of disease vectors (malaria and dengue vector control); Urban Pest Control (flying and crawling insects); Crop protection, and Livestock Pest Control (beetles and adult fly control).

ADVANTAGES OF MICROENCAPSULATION

• Microencapsulation extends the residual effect of Deltacap 2.5 MC, enabling the active ingredient to be available to the insect over a longer period of time.
• Microencapsulation allows the insect to pick up a lethal dose of the active ingredient before sub-lethal effects occur.
• The active ingredient is protected from degrading environmental factors because of the microcapsule’s protective coating.
• Repellency is reduced as the insects are able to pick up more than than the lethal dose before any repellent effects can occur.
